Greetings

Today we will learn about greetings in the mam language. Keep in mind that each area of Guatemala has their own different way of saying these words like Moroccan Arabic and Egyptian Arabic or like American English and British English. Mam from different villages and regions are in a range from dialect to totally different. However, I will make sure the words I put here are understandable to most everyone.

Hello,How are you- Tzen Taye (zen tai-yeh)

I am good-Intina ba' (in-tina baa)

Thank you-Chonteya (chon-teya)

Bye-hina' (heena)
